December 3, 2025 PHC awards $85 million to expand California’s physician workforce Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC) today announced $85 million in CalMedForce and CalMedForce+ grants to expand graduate medical education (GME) opportunities across California. October 28, 2025 New MedStudentsServe application opens Nov. 10 On November 10, 2025, Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC) will open its fifth application cycle for MedStudentsServe, which provides funding to medical student organizations to support educational, advocacy, community service and outreach programs that enhance the health and well-being of California’s communities. read more
