Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC) expects 2021 to be another decisive year in working with our partners to advance physician workforce diversity, community health and health equity for a thriving California. Next year’s priorities include:

• Expanding support and resource offerings to health systems launching graduate medical education (GME) programs
• Launching grants to support community service projects led by medical students and faculty
• Publishing a report on the wellness of female physicians of color
• Continuing to administer the $40 million GME program (CalMedForce) and $340 million loan repayment program (CalHealthCares)
• Convening physicians at our annual NEPO summit
