KidsVaxGrant 3.0 in supports Vaccines for Children Providers with $10,000 grants
2023By Physicians for a Healthy California KidsVaxGrant
As California continues its efforts to vaccinate all eligible residents against COVID-19, the state recently allocated $2.5 million for Vaccines for Children (VFC) providers serving pediatric populations through KidsVaxGrant 3.0, the fourth practice support grant cycle funded by the California Department of Public Health and administered by Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC).
This program allows VFC providers the opportunity to apply for $10,000 in support grant funding for their enrollment in the California COVID-19 vaccine program (myCAvax). Additionally, providers were able to opt in for a supplemental $5,000 to enhance/upgrade their electronic health record systems to meet the AB 1797 reporting requirements. The KidsVaxGrant 3.0 cycle was open from January 12, through March 3, 2023.
