Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC) is excited to announce that nominations are now open for our annual Health Equity Leadership Awards. This year, we’ve added three new award categories to honor California medical students, residents and young physicians who have demonstrated their commitment to promoting health equity across the state. Awards include:

•    Medical Student Health Equity Leadership Award 
•    Resident Health Equity Leadership Award 
•    Young Physician Health Equity Leadership Award
•    Diverse Physician Leadership Award
•    Robert D. Sparks, MD, Leadership Award
•    Frank E. Staggers Sr., MD, Outstanding Ethnic Physician Organization Award
•    Adarsh S. Mahal, MD, Access to Health Care and Disparities Award
