Have you ever wanted a peek behind the curtain of the CalHealthCares application review process? Now’s your chance!
With the most current CalHealthCares loan repayment grant application cycle closing soon, Physicians for a Healthy California (PHC) is looking forward to the next step in determining our Cohort 5 awardees – application review and scoring. To assist in this process, PHC is seeking volunteers from the medical and dental communities.
The review process takes place online and can be done as your schedule allows. Training and reference materials are made available to ensure volunteers are prepared to smoothly navigate the process. In accordance with the program criteria, volunteers are asked to sign a conflict-of-interest form prior to participation.
Those interested in lending their expertise to this process are invited to email CalHealthCares@phcdocs.org. Current plans are to host a virtual training session for reviewers on March 15, with formal reviews taking place March 20 through April 7. For those interested in participating, but challenged by the noted dates, please reach out as accommodations may be available.
