Women’s health physician recognized with access to care award

Inland Empire OB/GYN Guillermo Valenzuela, M.D., MBA, has been named the 2022 recipient of the Physicians for a Healthy California Adarsh S. Mahal, M.D., Access to Health Care and Disparities Award. This award honors an individual or organization that has demonstrated extraordinary interest and efforts toward improving access to health care or reducing health care disparities in California.

The KidsVaxGrant 2.0 application cycle is open for another few weeks. Providers that serve pediatric populations and are newly enrolled in California’s COVID-19 vaccine program (myCAvax) could be eligible for $10,000 to support enrollment and launching a vaccination center.
